Become an Intern
We are currently accepting applications for a selected number of interns on a case by case basis in both the Olympia and Mexico locations.
The Center for Traditional Medicine internship program provides individuals opportunities to gain skills and contribute to research, writing, clinical and administrative activities. Interns are expected to undertake both substantive work as well as administrative duties that help the center function. We accept undergraduates, graduates and post graduate students as well as others who are not in an academic program who want the internship experience.
Interns are asked to commit to a minimum of at least three months if during the summer (or the equivalent of one quarter/semester), 20-40 hours per week or six-twelve months during the school year. College credit may be arranged at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Prospective interns are invited to send a detailed letter to Dr. Leslie Korn, stating background and experience, your areas of interest and goals along with internship dates requested. Please include a statement of your computer research and word processing skills and a sample of your writing.
